This post is created for your trip to Malaysia. Specifically West Malaysia as East Malaysia requires a flight and I'm not good with recommending places there.

Places to visit

Daytime places

1. Petronas Twin Towers (Malaysia's #1 tourism spot, right in central of Kuala Lumpur)

2. Batu Caves (Hindu temple, 20-30 mins drive from central KL)

3. KLCC Park (Right outside the KLCC Shopping Mall, worth a walk to catch some sun and fountains)

4. Thean Hou Temple (Chinese Temple that most Chinese go to)

5. Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (Hotspots for Food, Drinks and Events)

Nighttime Places

1. Lot 10 (Famous shopping mall for older generations, amazing Taiwan themed food court underground called Hutong)

2. Helipad KL (go to the top of a helipad and enjoy the night view of KL unrestricted. Drinks served.)

3. Petaling Street (all your goodies, Malaysian food and souvenirs)

Travelling further out

1. A' Famosa (in the state of Melaka, shows old infrastructure and aftereffects of Portugal colonization, worth spending 1 night here to see everything, driving takes 1.5 hours)

2. Jonker Street (near A' Famosa, similar to Petaling Street, all about souvenirs and food)

3. Genting Highlands (A resort/theme park/getaway built on top of a hill, 30-45 mins drive from central Kuala Lumpur, worth spending 1 to 2 nights here to explore everything.)

4. Penang Island (known by Malaysians as food haven, 4-5 hours drive from central KL, recommended staying 2 nights)

All of these should be able to keep you busy for your stay. =]

UniLoL Tournament!

University LoL Tournament

Keen to know where you stand among your university peers? Test your skills and stomp your lane? Or feed and troll for just being terrible? Don't do the latter. Haha. Join the UniLoL tournament and earn yourself and your uni some reputation in the Garena scene. And you can meet new friends, who doesn't want more LoL friends to play with? Admit it! Here's your chance! =)

Registration :

1. Teams must submit their registration by 25th December 2013 by emailing @gmail.com. Details needed would be Team Name, Team Members' Names, Team Members' LoL IGNs, Uni, Occupation and preferred map (Summoner's Rift or Howling Abyss). Unless we have 8 teams participating for Crystal Scar, otherwise we will have to put that map on hold first.

2. A total fee of RM50 per team needs to be paid by 25th December 2013.

3. Teams (5 members each) must consist of at least 4 students and can have up to 2 substitutes but all participants must be registered.

4. Garena LoL Accounts must be at level 30.

5. Only 8 teams will be allowed to join the tournament on a 1st come, 1st serve basis.

6. The tournament will be conducted through a bracket basis.

7. Every team match-up will be a best-of-3 series.

8. Tournament period will be held from the 27th-29th Dec 2013.

Game Conditions : 

1. All games will be played individually at own comfortable locations using own gaming peripherals.  

2. Team leaders should be online 10 minutes prior to their game schedule so that the judges can confirm participation.

3. In the event that there's absence due to insufficient reasons 10 minutes past schedule, the team will be considered as forfeited.

4. Every game needs to be spectated by up to two commentators/judges.

5. In-game pauses of 5 minutes are given, any more shall be considered as forfeit.

6. All games will be in custom draft mode.

7. No trash talking or vulgarities, two warnings and team forfeits.

8. List of Judges will be as follows : Meowtch, Froza, Gopher_Dude, Ayori, gamer_dood , NotLegendary
